GMP Drivercare target public sector growth with Ctrack link up

GMP Drivercare, the specialist fleet management services provider, has teamed up with Ctrack by Inseego to develop and implement advanced telematics solutions for the public sector. Following the successful roll-out of vehicle tracking solutions to a significant number of NHS trusts and housing associations in the past 12 months, the companies have finalised a premier partnership agreement to take advantage of long-term growth potential within the marketplace.

“We provide a managed-service for over 10,000 cars, vans and specialist vehicles, operating as a virtual fleet department for more than 100 organisations within the public sector,” explains Salman Hamid, Director of Development at GMP Drivercare. “Ctrack is a likeminded industry specialist with proven expertise in the marketplace, so our two businesses fit very well together. We have worked previously with multiple telematics providers – due to the importance of real-time and historical fleet data for our service – but this is the first time we have awarded preferred partner status.”

Ctrack will use its longstanding experience working within the public and essential services sectors to develop bespoke telematics that meet the diverse fleet requirements of NHS trusts and housing associations. GMP Drivercare will integrate its fleet management systems with Ctrack’s telematics software Ctrack Online to automate and streamline back-office and reporting processes. This will enable its team to use key telematics data to gain operational insight and business intelligence, generating increased value and continuous improvement for customers.

Jason Laight, Head of Indirect Sales at Ctrack by Inseego commented: “We understand the exact fleet needs of public sector organisations, so we have the ability to create flexible and tailored telematics solutions that overcomes many of the challenges they face. By working in partnership with GMP Drivercare we are combining two highly complementary service offerings to deliver effective end-to-end fleet management.”

“Our aim is to work with partners that are committed to offering service-based solutions underpinned by fleet industry best-practice. Ctrack has performed to the highest standards in recent months, not least around its COVID 19 customer safety policy, which in the current climate has been vitally important.  This extra layer of protection and peace of mind is contributing to our customers’ ability to deliver front-line and critical services in the most productive, efficient and responsible way,” concludes Salman Hamid.
